How to check the engine oil

We advice our customers to carry out the following steps every 500 kms.
Step 1: Put the bike on the main stand on a flat surface, or keep it straight.

Step 2: Pull out the dipstick, wipe it off.

Step 3: Insert the stick back into the pipe

Step 4: Pull out the stick again and see the film of oil on the end of the stick.

Note how high the oil film reaches on the dipstick and the condition of the oil, and add or change the oil as needed.

Oil turns black pretty quickly, but that doesn’t really matter. If the bike works properly, you only need to change the oil every 1000 kms. If you use the bike intensely, the oil may need to be changed sooner. You can also rub a little between your thumb and index finger, and if it leaves a dirty smudge, it probably needs to be changed.

If your oil looks clean enough but only reaches the “Add” level on the dipstick, you need to add oil. You can buy oil at the fuel station or in any mechanic shop
